Here at the Spirits of the Forest we have created a unique place for anybody interested Natural Wych-craft.

We aim to Guide/lead you gently along the path into our own Elemental Tradition.
It is your personal journey and we share our experiences, teach you our ways and help to guide your footsteps on this "well worn path".
We hope to learn as much from you as you do from us, so that our Groups have a strong,support with a well structured system of group activities.
As you can see, this way, our way, will not be for everyone, so we give you plenty of opportunities to meet us before you embark/begin your course, and time for discussions along the way with a system of mentors and Elders; you will be supported every step of the way, to help you reach each of our Five Degree Levels.
Here you will discover the basics of the Craft; put Wych-craft into Historical perspective; explore deity, the cycle of the seasons, ethics, some basic 'magickal' techniques of meditation, visualisation and pathworking; look at the moon and her influences; find out about some skills related to the path and begin to participate in some of our rituals.
You will spend the First Thirteen Weeks on this part of your journey and thenif you wish to carry on, take a dedication which will lead you onto the next step.
First Degree Level in the Element of Earth
this will take you a Year and a Day, at the end of this course you may feel you are ready for your first full Initiation as First Degree Wych.
If you wish to carry on after this Initiation, there are four further degree levels, each taking a year and a day to achieve
Our group is dedicated to passing on our experience and knowledge of Wych-Craft.
The well worn path of ancient times that is built upon the beliefs and practises of a pre-Christian religeon.
Please note that we are NOT Wiccan.
You will learn from ordinary people who have been Wych's for many years, but who are still learning too.
Our first 13 week coure is designed for people New to The path and you are training to become a Coven Wych.
The Sunday Pop In is at 2.00pm, where you can chat to others, have a drink, find out more about us, feel the energies and ensure we are the right group for you and of course you are right for our Groups
Spirits of the Forest and our teaching
We take all the following into account in our teaching.
We like to begin with the connection to the Old Ways, the Wheel of the Year, to nature and the cycles of life.
We move on to the basics of Wych-craft – connecting with the Moon, Mother Earth and the Elements, Earth, Air, Fire, Water
We teach our groups how to develop the skills of meditation, trance work and pathworking that lead to a deeper understanding of the craft and of ourselves.
We look at the history of the craft, including Wicca and modern influences, to put where we are now into context.
We explore the simple ways of casting circles.
Once the basics have been covered we add in extra skills and ways of working that have been developed and learnt within the craft during the centuries of its existence.
We touch upon ceremonial magic and other techniques of magic and self development to give our members additional ways of working that they can chose from if they wish to but our primary teaching is from Natural Earth Magick..
Of course all the lessons won’t resonate with everyone and some of them are definitely not linked to the simple Old Ways or to ‘traditional Wychcraft’ and we try and give everyone a choice as to where their own particular path lies.
We do not criticise or condemn other ways of practising Wychcraft, instead we seek to understand them in order to enrich our own tradition.
We don’t feel the need to put labels or titles to what we are doing nor do we need to justify it to those outside our groups.
We approach everything in a spirit of enquiry and questioning feeling that the questions people ask are as important as the answers.
We have kept the term ‘initiation’ as it’s what our groups like to have and like to feel as though they have achieved something, that you have made some personal progress along the path. Of the course, no one initiates you, you make their own promises to your own personal path, we simply guide you on the way.

We have built a new personal Elemental Tradition based on a firm foundation, whilst applying our own unique views and interpretations.
Warning: The path of Elemental Wych-Craft can and does change you as a person and your life, it can turn it upside down and inside out and back again, it is not a path to take lightly.
However, it is a path of self-development, love, beauty, awareness of self and inner connectedness, and lets you Use,see,feel and enjoy the natural "Magick" of our Wonderful Earth.
We are tolerant and respective of any other religeons, and except both men and women. Racism and prejudice in any form is not in our nature and will not be tolerated.
